Hi! My name is

KENNETH ALONSO

Multiplatform Developer Student

ABOUT ME

I’m an architect by training with almost 10 years of experience in the industrial sector. However, some time ago I decided to take a new direction and pursue what I’m truly passionate about: programming. Right now, I’m studying Multiplatform Application Development (DAM) to fully prepare myself and take my first steps into the software world. Born and raised in Barcelona, I see myself as a curious and persistent person, always eager to learn and take on new challenges. I also have two greyhounds who keep me motivated and provide great company during this new chapter. I love combining the creativity I developed in architecture with the logic and structure that programming requires. I believe this mix gives me a unique perspective to solve problems and build practical solutions. I’m really excited about this career change and everything that’s ahead.

PROJECTS

In this section, you'll find a selection of my most representative projects, developed both during my studies and through self-learning. Each one reflects my growth as a developer, as well as my focus on writing clean, functional, and well-structured code. I have worked on both frontend and backend development, and each project includes a brief description, the technologies used, and, when possible, a link to see the result in action.

Being familiar and proficient with these tools allows me to create functional, scalable, and well-organized solutions.

INTERESTS

When I’m not coding (or wrestling with some annoying bug), I like to surround myself with things that inspire me, help me relax, or simply make me laugh. I listen to a lot of podcasts, mostly about history, science, or random curiosities, usually while walking my two greyhounds or when I’m deep into painting Warhammer miniatures, a hobby that mixes creativity, strategy, and a whole lot of patience with tiny brushes. I’m also really into video games, especially when I get to play with friends. I love hopping online, sharing a few laughs, and switching off from the world for a bit. Sometimes we get competitive, other times we’re just a total mess, but we always have a great time. I also enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), discovering epic new soundtracks, and going down rabbit holes on YouTube watching random videos about history, tech, or geeky stuff. I’m always drawn to anything that lets me learn something new without feeling like I’m "studying," and I think those everyday curiosities are a big part of what keeps me growing, both as a person and as a developer.
